You give me a great idea, I will record some of the spectacular views from the Konkan Railway. My train from Madgao usually reaches Kumta at 5:30, so the setting sun provides a spectacular vista over the several rivers and as you pointed out the place is rich in Coconut and supari plantations. This reminds me of the the view from the Honmav bridge (you will come across this when you are entering Kumta from Honnavar end). There are no skylines but the bridge runs over a strip of river and overlooking coconut and supari plantations. It forms a good place for a quiet evening walk. The clip is good, hope to see the skyline some time (in case if I come to US :) …).
