The more you spend, the better the national economy is. You save less and thus less well-off you are!
But the economy is better! This means you can have a higher paying job and the government can collect more taxes to fix the roads so you can drive your bigger car to the fancier mall, faster. For more shopping.
Is this what economics ultimately is all about? A better shopping experience? huhn
