    Arun Says:
Thank you Ujwal for your best wishes and kind words! We shot the pic a couple of months ago in the Boston Public Garden. It is truly the best place in Boston to take pics – all seasons! If you visit here, I will guide you there.

And Best WIshes to you all for the New Year!

Does your resolutions for the New year include starting a blog? heee heee!

  7. Oh boy! I wasn’t even done with the last comment… Oops!

Adai and Chutney, and those brownies from today coming your way! ๐Ÿ™‚

BTW, very cute pic of you and M! Hope you both have a wonderful and fabulous New Year 2009 and beyond.

    Arun Says:
Thank you for that tutorial on tempeh; saves me the trouble of looking for it. I like cooking with tofu, particularly with cauliflowers for a nice “high protein” sabzi.

And thank you for your nice words about the pic!
Wishing you and your family an awesome New Year!

and thanks for that adai/chutney :-O

  8. Arun, Tempeh is very much like tofu in the sense that it is a soy product, basically a whole soybean product, and you can actually see the whole soy in them, kinda compressed. It has a different texture than tofu… I did not seem to like it that much.
Would prefer tofu anyday, it is like a sponge that absorbs all the flavors that I throw in. Tempeh was a little bland for me.

Me in Seattle braving the cold! ๐Ÿ™‚
(It isn’t that cold, just that I got a little carried away as it started snowing)

  9. Thank you for your beautiful photos — and for your perspectives on India, Boston and life. Three of my favorite “places.” Peace to you in this new year.

    Arun Says:
    Thank you for your wishes!
Best three “places”: India, Boston and life? Have to agree! Now I am trying to reconcile all three! Best Wishes to you and your family
